It's been a few weeks since our last update, so this release rounds up everything from the past several weeks. The headline is the Activity Timeline — a complete, searchable history of everything Filently does to your documents — plus the ability to undo any filing action and restore a document exactly where it was.

Activity Timeline & Rollback

Filently now keeps a full, searchable record of every action taken on your documents — when a file was added, filed, renamed, edited, or removed. Open the new Activity page to see the complete timeline with filters for type, date range, and search, or open any individual document to view its own history.

Every filing action can now be reverted. Roll a document back and Filently restores its original name and moves it back to exactly where it came from. If a rollback can't complete (for example, the original folder no longer exists), you'll see a clear reason instead of a silent failure. Activity

New Features

Dedicated Storage page

A new Storage page gives you one place to view and manage your Google Drive connection. It shows your connection status, filing location, inbox folder, and live indexing progress, and clearly lays out exactly which permissions you've granted.

Change your filing location

You can now change where Filently files your documents yourself, without contacting support. The new flow guides you through switching folders — even across different drives — and protects you from stranding documents that are still mid-filing.

Bug Fixes

• Office documents — Word, Excel, and other Office files now process reliably instead of occasionally failing.

• Duplicate detection — Filently no longer mistakes different Google Docs that share a name for duplicates.

• Inbox folders — folders you move into your inbox now stay put and are no longer treated as documents to file.

• Deleting documents — removing a document now also cleans up files nested inside inbox subfolders.

• Custom instructions — your unsaved filing instructions are no longer lost when the settings page refreshes.

• Bulk approval — approving many documents at once now handles Google permission prompts gracefully and won't over-count your usage if a step is declined.

• Inbox approval — clearer wording and confirmation feedback when approving files from your inbox.

• Page translation — Filently no longer crashes when your browser auto-translates the page.

• Google Picker — the Drive file picker is no longer blocked or mis-centered when opened from a dialog.

• Subscription management — the Manage Subscription and cancel options now display reliably, and canceled subscriptions are handled correctly.

• Reliability — improved resilience during periods when Google Drive is slow to respond.
